Large Chrome Chalcedony specimen slab
Origin: Western Australia
Colors: Green, brown and white
Characteristics: Mirror polish on the front, sanded flat and smooth back not polished, front has a couple of small pits and some rough matrix around the edges. The back has a 15 mm pit in the white matrix and 3 other small pits, the edges on the back also has rough white matrix. All the pits can be seen in my pictures. This is a beautiful specimen. The slab is too thick to see the green chrome translucence.
Approx size: 6" x 4 1/2 " x 12 mm, weight: 10.8 ounces.
This material is a silicified rock only found on top of the ground in Australia, the main cause for being extremely rare. The chalcedony is a beautiful mottled emerald green with inclusions. The matrix also takes on the chrome chalcedony color. Pitting can be seen in the white colored matrix.
Chrome chalcedony has been found in a number of places in Western Australia, this came from near the town of Newman which is approximately 700 miles north of the capital, Perth. I've seen some other material like this that was found last year, it doesn't look as good as the material from the original location.
I use a full spectrum 45 w light bulb - photography photo CFL 5500K. It's a daylight balanced pure white light.

All items are carefully packed and sent first class in a bubble envelope. You can combine items, addition costs will be applied only if the weight exceeds 4 oz or the items will not fit in the standard bubble envelope.

All items are shipped through USPS. We only ship to the address linked to PAYPAL or ETSY account. If you wish to have your order shipped to a different address you must contact us. All addresses must be in English.

USA: 100% guarantee. Returns are accepted if your not happy with an item or it has a problem. You must contact us before you return any item. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the problem is our fault. Items must be returned in the original packaging within 3 days of receipt. NO EXCEPTIONS.
International Countries: We don't ship to international countries. Contact us if you want to purchase our products.
If the package is received damaged you must report it to the delivering mail carrier to see if they accept liability.
We take pride in our craftsmanship so we offer a 30 day period in which an item can be returned for a repair in the unlikely situation there is damage not caused by neglect.

We are not accepting any custom orders at this time. We no longer make cabochons or jewelry. If you need a special rough preformed slab send us a note, we maybe able to honor your request.
OUR PICTURES
Our pictures are extremely close to the real thing in colors, buyers must have an updated computer to see the same colors as we do. Your item will look better in real life. Pictures are enlarged, approx size is given in the item description and a picture with a US coin is used to show size comparison, a dime is 18 mm, a quarter is 24 mm (25 mm is equal to 1 inch).
