My preformed rough slabs have all or most of the pits and open fractures removed and the front and back smoothed to produce a more acceptable slab for you to finish as a cab or specimen.

Characteristics: Preformed rough slab, internal rutilated quartz, no pits or fractures. This will make a beautiful cabochon, preformed to make it easier for you to finish.

This material came from Brazil. Rutilated quartz contains needle like rutile (a titanium dioxide mineral). The rutile needles can be reddish, golden, silvery, or on very rare occasions, green.

An 18 mm dime and 10 mm background squares in some pictures should help you with image sizing.
