Origin: Mount Papandayan, Indonesia, volcano near Garut, West Java, Indonesia

Characteristics: A young material that was still forming, once mined for it's sulfur content, found in an active volcano. Beautiful cab, a tiny pit, no fractures.

Many of the minerals found around the vents are sulfates. The most abundant minerals are sulfur, hematite, halite, sylvite, gypsum, raistonite, anhydrite, thenardite, tangbenite and opaline silica, orpiment and realgar. Bumble Bee Jasper is probably a makeup of all the minerals listed above and maybe more.
