Prudent man plume agate is from the Alder Creek Mining district near Mackay, Idaho. A great looking agate found several years ago, its scenic pictures makes designer jewelry stand out. Material is becoming scarce.

Approx size: Irregular 37 x 50 x 5.5 mm, weight: 24 g

This slab is not like a normal rough slab you find on the internet, I've taken the time to remove all or most of the pits and fracture lines to produce a more acceptable slab for cabs or specimen. I used 180 or 325 diamond grit to sand the edges, and smooth the front and back to make it easier for you to finish.

I use a full spectrum 45 w light bulb - photography photo CFL 5500K. It's a daylight balanced pure white light.

First 4 pictures taken wet to bring out colors you may see after polishing. Remaining pictures taken dry to show imperfections if any. If it's transparent one picture is taken with backlighting.

Unless noted all my rough slabs are preformed with 180 or 325 diamond grit.

An 18 mm dime or 24mm quarter and 10 mm background squares in my pictures will help you with image sizing.
