DESCRIPTION:

Rare Gem Silica CHRYSOCOLLA in quartz. This slab will make gorgeous jewelry or keep for a very rare specimen. There is a lot going on internally with this slab, the mixing of colors have caused a lot of internal fracturing that has been filled with beautiful colors of blue and green silica and some with a black and brown matrix. This is one of the last pieces I still have, if you didn't get any in my previous sales this solid piece will make beautiful jewelry. It's solid and it will not break easily.

I purchased my rough 20+ years ago at a Gem and Mineral show in Avi, Arizona. I tested the rock for dye which was negative. All my cabs I made from this material came out beautiful with a mirror finish. I purchased it from a miner that said it came from the Montezuma Mine, Cochise, Arizona.
