Pink Lepidolite Mica Slab: Stewart Mine, Lithium Mineral, prefinished slab, smooth finish (26005)

I prefinished this slab by removing ugly pits and fractures and trimmed away anything that didn't look good. I shaped it and gave it a final 1200 diamond grit sanded smooth finish. Based on their physical makeup some end up with a really nice shine, sometimes like a mirror. If I have to leave anything in, like pits or fractures, I will mention them in the below description. This slab is nice enough to use in your designer jewelry or in your collection. If picture shows a stand, it's included as a free gift.

PEGMATITE PINK LEPIDOLITE and MICA, natural colors, small fracture line on the back. Origin: Stewart Mine which is in the Pala Mining District, Southern Calif. Lepidolite is the name of a rare lithium-rich mica mineral that is usually pink, red, or purple in color. It is the most common lithium-bearing mineral.
