Nice example of a Pyrite and Crystalized Dogtooth Calcite specimen. It's a solid rock that has been out of the ground for a long time. It was purchased at a Estate sale, no tag showing where it came from.

I'm not an expert on identifying specimens but this one is pretty easy to see what it it. Dogtooth Calcite is a way in which Calcite can crystallize, in a scalenohedral form,

The crystals are a yellowish color and most of them are crystalized dogtooth shaped, the pyrite is mainly in cubic form.
