I prefinished this slab by removing ugly pits and fractures and trimmed away anything that didn't look good. I shaped it and gave it a final 1200 diamond grit sanded smooth finish. Based on their physical makeup some end up with a really nice shine, sometimes like a mirror. If I have to leave anything in, like pits or fractures, I will mention them in the below description. This slab is nice enough to use in your designer jewelry or in your collection.

SLAB DESCRIPTION:
CHRYSOCOLLA with CUPRITE preformed slab. Colors are a green spiderweb Chrysocolla on gray quartz and a red spiderweb Cuprite on gray quartz. No pits or fractures. It has a 1200 grit luster finish. On the back there is a metallic area (seen in the last picture), I think, maybe it's silver. Plastic stand is included.
Cuprite is a soft, heavy, red oxide mineral (Cu2O) that is an important ore of copper.
Chrysocolla is also a secondary copper mineral (CuSiO3·2H2O) formed in the oxidation zones of copper ore deposits.
