I prefinished this slab by removing ugly pits and fractures and trimmed away anything that didn't look good. I shaped it and gave it a final 1200 diamond grit sanded smooth finish. Based on their physical makeup some end up with a really nice shine, sometimes like a mirror. If I have to leave anything in, like pits or fractures, I will mention them in the below description. This slab is nice enough to use in your designer jewelry or in your collection.

SLAB DISCRIPTION:
RARE RUSSIAN THUNDEREGG AGATE SLICE Cabochon, 26 x 40 x 5.5 mm, 50 ct, black and white colors translucent white matrix which has a yellow glow with a backlight. No enhancements, cut from a thunderegg I purchased from a Russian dealer at the Tucson Gem show more than 20 years ago. No open fractures or pits. The black matrix does have some surface fracturing it shouldn't cause and setting problem.
It's hard to take pictures that show its true beauty, we know you will be pleased if you make a purchase. If the cab is displayed on a plastic stand it is included free of charge.
