I created a smooth slab, gave it a beautiful shine and converted it into a cabochon with a flat front, back and sides. It has a smooth surface, no pits or fractures, making it suitable for jewelry or as a specimen. We prefinish our lapidary slabs by trimming away anything that doesn't look good, and we give them a final 1200 diamond grit sanded smooth finish. Based on their physical makeup, they can end up with a nice glow, bright or mirror shine. If I have to leave anything in, like pits or fractures, I will mention them in the below description.
