2 Sugilite cabochons with Manganese, flat front and back, bright finish, mixed purple & black, beautiful earring pair, medium size (25162)

I created 2 smooth slabs and gave them a beautiful shine and converted them into cabochons with a flat front, back and sides. It has a smooth surface without pits and open fractures, making it suitable for jewelry or a specimen. These will make beautiful earrings. We prefinish our lapidary slabs by trimming away anything that doesn't look good, and we give it a final 1200 diamond grit sanded smooth finish. Based on their makeup, they end up with a nice glow, or a bright or mirror shine. If I have to leave anything in, like pits or fractures, I will mention them in the below description.

CAB DESCRIPTION:

2 RARE SUGILITE AND MANGANESE cabs with a beautiful mix of natural black and purple colors, no pits or open fractures, there is several hard to see surface fractures and fracture in one corner going up the side, they show up in the pictures. It has a nice polish, not a mirror one but you can see reflections in the stones, with the different surface colors it's hard to get a true mirror reflection. I created these to be equal in size and I'm sure they will make beautiful earrings.
Approx size: 13 x 30 x 5 mm, 5.3 grams, it's the same size for each.
