This lapidary slab was preformed. We wanted to make something that was easy for you to finish, or ready to be used asis. We trimmed away anything that didn't look good and gave it a 600-1200 grit polish.
My shipping charge is $4.99, it doesn't matter how many items you purchase. It includes insurance for lost mail.
PREFORMED SLAB DESCRIPTION:
Origin: Western United States
I purchased this material at an estate sale some years ago, it was tagged from New Lander. It's a rare mineral, copper-iron phosphate found in the oxidized zones of some hydrothermal deposits. Colors are green, yellow green and black.
I preformed the slab sanding and shaping it, I finished with 1200 grit. It has a nice glow so it can be used asis and displayed as a specimen, my preform also makes it easier to cab and polish.

Use my pictures with the 10 x 10 mm background squares and the 18 mm dime to help with size visualization. All pictures show a slab that has been given a nice glow or bright polish using 600-1200 diamond grit.,
I try to eliminate all the pits and open fractures and I smooth all sides. I will note anything I couldn't remove. Your going to get a slab that is going to be easy to finish or use asis. If your going to make a cab you will find it a lot easier with my slabs. No waste to deal with.
