6 Rare preformed lapidary slabs, Royal Imperial Jasper, Chrysocolla in Quartz, Spiderweb Turquoise, Cobaltite, Peruvian Opal (25122)

These lapidary slabs were preformed, shaped and sanded smooth and given a final 1200 grit shine.  They are nice enough to be used asis for jewelry or kept as a specimen or collectable.  We prefinish our slabs by trimming away anything that doesn't look good, and we give it a final 1200 grit sanded smooth finish with a nice glow or bright shine, sometimes a mirror shine.  It's hard to take pictures that show the true beauty of the slabs, we know you will be pleased if you make a purchase. If the slab is displayed on a plastic stand it is included free of charge..

PREFORMED SLAB DESCRIPTIONS:

6 small rare preformed lapidary slabs. They are ready to finish or use any one of them asis. The small size can be used for rings, accents or pendants. All fronts and backs are flat. I preformed all of these to make it easier if you wanted to further finish them with your favorite polish. If I have to leave anything in like pits or fractures I will put it in the below descriptions.

RARE ROYAL IMPERIAL AGATE, preformed slab, mound shape, 15 x 20 x 5 mm, 15 ct, translucent, natural colors, from Mexico. These were found along with Royal Imperial Jasper, this is the only one that was translucent and it's my last piece.

RARE Chryscolla in quartz with Gem Silica, blue and black (the black maybe silver). 18 x 13 x 4 mm, 6.5 ct. This will make a gorgeous ring. My rough was purchased 22 years ago at a Gem and Mineral show in Avi, Arizona. The miner told me blue Gem Silica was scattered throughout the big rock I purchased. The cabs I made from it have all been sold. Origin: Montezuma Mine, Cochise, Arizona

BLUE SPIDERWEB TURQUOISE preformed rough slab, natural, 13 x 18 x 4 mm, 11 ct, blue, black gray colors, tongue shape. Origin unknown but it looks very similar to Lander Blue and the Turquoise from Hubei China . If your not there when it comes out of the mine it's very hard to identify. This material came out beautiful with a 1200 grit mirror finish

RARE COBALTITE preformed slab, silver ore (gray), becomes a bright silver when polished, the white is calcite, rectangle shape, 20 x 15 x 4.5 mm40 ct., from Ontario, BC.

RARE ROYAL IMPERIAL JASPER , 20 x 13 x 5 mm, natural colors, oval shape. It's from northern Mexico, they are found as small nodules as opposed to Imperial Jasper which is similar in colors but found in large veins and comes in much bigger pieces. Some years back they were finding a lot nodules on top of the ground, now they don't and the rough now is pretty much disappearing. This jasper produces a mirror polish and looks great in jewelry.

RARE BLUE PERUVIAN OPAL preformed slab. teardrop shape, Sky Blue with brown matrix on the front and back. No pits or fractures, some inclusions. Translucent. It's unique, rare and guaranteed natural. Finish this or use asis for a beautiful specimen or make it into a gorgeous cab, ring or pendant.

INFO ON SLABS
Use my pictures with the 10 x 10 mm background squares and the 18 mm dime to help with size visualization. All pictures show a slab that has been given a nice glow or bright polish using 600-1200 diamond grit.,

I try to eliminate all the pits and open fractures and I smooth all sides. I will note anything I couldn't remove. Your going to get a slab that is going to be easy to finish or use asis. If your going to make a cab you will find it a lot easier with my slabs. No waste to deal with.
