This lapidary slab was preformed. We wanted to make something that was easy for you to finish, or ready to be used asis. We prefinish our slabs by trimmeing away anything that doesn't look good, and we give it a 1200 grit sanded smooth finish. It's hard to take pictures that show the true beauty of the slabs, we know you will be pleased if you make a purchase.

PREFORMED SLAB DESCRIPTIONS:

6 small rare preformed lapidary slabs. They are ready to finish or use any one of them asis. The small and medium size can be used for rings, accents or pendants. All fronts and backs are flat. I preformed all of these to make it easier if you wanted to further finish them with your favorite polish. If I have to leave anything in like pits or fractures I will put it in the below descriptions.

TOP ROW:

SHATTUCKITE, 20 x 18 x 5 mm, 18 ct, rectangle, tiny surface fractures on the front and open surface fracture on the back. natural colors, green, brown and blue, from Arizona. Nice 1200 grit finish, use asis.

RARE PRUDENT MAN PLUME, 15.5 x 16 x 4.5 mm, 13.5 ct, mound shape, mine in Utah closed and covered over. Finished with 1200 grit.

RARE SUGILITE, 18 x 16 x 5.5 mm, 28 ct. designer shape, natural colors, purple, gray and black, 2 naturally sealed fracture lines, from Africa. Finished with 1200 grit.

BOTTOM ROW:

RARE EAST JAVA PURPLE CHALCEDONY, 12 x 17 x 8 mm, 16 ct, designer shape, natural colors, lavender chalcedony, black basalt and gray cloud like inclusions. Finished with 1200 grit.

RARE RHODOCHROSITE, 19 x 13 x 3.5 mm, 12 ct, mound shape, natural color, pink tones, small pit on the back. Finished with 1200 grit.

RARE EAST JAVA PURPLE CHALCEDONY, 13 x 18 x 5.5 mm, 10 ct, teardrop shape, natural colors, lavender chalcedony, gray cloud like inclusions. several pits on the side and back Finished with 1200 grit.

INFO ON SLABS
Use my pictures with the 10 x 10 mm background squares and the 18 mm dime to help with size visualization. All pictures show a slab that has been given a nice glow or bright polish using 600-1200 diamond grit.,

I do my best in removing all the pits and open fractures and I smooth all sides. I will note anything I couldn't remove. Your going to get a slab that is going to be easy to finish or use asis. If your going to make a cab you will find it a lot easier with my slabs. No waste to deal with.
