This lapidary slab was preformed. We wanted to make something that was easy for you to finish, or ready to be used asis. We prefinish our slabs by trimmeing away anything that doesn't look good, and we give it a 1200 grit sanded smooth finish. It's hard to take pictures that show the true beauty of the slabs, we know you will be pleased if you make a purchase.

My shipping charge is $4.99, it doesn't matter how many items you purchase. It includes insurance for lost mail.

PREFORMED SLAB DESCRIPTIONS:

6 small rare preformed lapidary slabs. They are ready to finish or use any one of them asis. The small size can be used for rings, accents or pendants. All fronts and backs are flat. I preformed all of these to make it easier if you wanted to further finish them with your favorite polish. If I have to leave anything in like pits or fractures I will put it in the below descriptions.

RARE PERUVIAN PICTURE OPAL, preformed slab. hiigh polish with 1200 grit. Use asis for a beautiful specimen or make it into a gorgeous cab, ring or pendant. Mixed natural colors of blue and brown. Translucent, No pits or fractures, It's unique as are most picture opals. It's guaranteed natural. Origin: Peru.

RARE CHRYSOCOLLA in QUARTZ with Gem Silica, blue and small black (the black maybe silver). 18 x 13 x 4 mm, 6.5 ct. This will make a gorgeous ring. My rough was purchased 22 years ago at a Gem and Mineral show in Avi, Arizona. The miner told me blue Gem Silica was scattered throughout the big rock I purchased. BRAZILIAN GOLDEN RUTILATED QUARTZ. This is a nice example showsing a spray of golden rutile within a preformed slab. Nice example shows some inclusions in my designer shaped slab. I don't see any pits or fractures. I finished it with a 1200 grit which produced a nice shine, a final polish should bring out a beautiful mirror shine. Origin: Brazil

PETRIFIED DINO BONE Preformed slab to help make it easier for you to finish, smooth surface. There are pits that I couldn't remove, some on the left edge on the front an a lot of tiny pits on the back. Natural black and red colors. Origin: Western USA.

INFO ON SLABS
Use my pictures with the 10 x 10 mm background squares and the 18 mm dime to help with size visualization. All pictures show a slab that has been given a nice glow or bright polish using 600-1200 diamond grit.,

I do my best in removing all the pits and open fractures and I smooth all sides. I will note anything I couldn't remove. Your going to get a slab that is going to be easy to finish or use asis. If your going to make a cab you will find it a lot easier with my slabs. No waste to deal with.
