DESCRIPTION:

RUTILATED SMOKY QUARTZ lapidary slab, shaped and polished, the rutile is a soft golden color in Smoky Quartz. At the bottom of the cab there is a clump of rutiles, this is a beautiful example that shows where the rutile started from. No pits or fractures. It has a 1200 grit mirror finish. Some rutiles break the surface of the cab creating a line or tiny pit, you can see these in the pictures, I have reduced this from happening a lot with my fine sanding. This fine example will look great in your specimen cabinet or jewelry..
