Lapidary slabs preformed by DesignsbyShirl in Windsor, Calif. My small to medium slabs are rare, scarce or unique and one of a kind. They are preformed by sanding and shaping them. They have flat backs and fronts, all sides are smoothed with 600 diamond grit to make it easier for you to finish. Most have a glow or brighter finish so you can use them asis in jewelry or as a specimen, if stand is shown it's included free.

SLAB CHARACTERISTICS:

RARE OCEAN JASPER preformed lapidary slab, sanded and shaped ready to finish, flat back and front, beautiful druzy pocket with crystals and a 2nd procket that is sealed with quartz with falling white orbs, rectangle shape, no pits (other than the druzy pockets) or fractures,colors are white and gray from Madagascar, 37.5 x 17.5 x 6 mm, 41 ct.

INFO ON SLABS

Use my pictures with the 10 x 10 mm background squares and the 18 mm dime to help with size visualization. All pictures show a dry slab with subdued colors. Polishing or finishing slabs will brighten most colors.

I try to eliminate all the pits and open fractures and I smooth all sides. I will note anything I couldn't remove. Your going to get a slab that is going to be easy to finish. I preform the slabs by sanding and shaping them with 120 to 600 diamond grit and sometimes up to 1500 grit, by removing all grit lines before the next stage in sanding gives the slab a superior looking finish and gets it ready for polishing, if you want to polish it. My preform really helps you cut down the time it takes you to finish these slabs. No waste to deal with..
