Approx size: 26 x 27 x 7,5 mm, 53 ct,

This Hyalite opal came from the same area as the Candy Stripe Opal, also known as Flame Opal, Bacon Opal, Bubble Opal & Wildfire Opal. This is only found In the shadow of the Mineral Mountains near Milford, Utah. Hyalite opal is a colorless version of common opal, but due to inclusions of hematite and other minerals from this location the Opal can take on different colors, this one is white, gray and black.

Preformed and smoothed with a final 600 diamond grit sanding, ready for you to finish with a final polish, no pits, several surface fractures on the back and front, these can be seen in the pictures (nothing hurts the integrity), black stand is included. front and back are flat and smooth. It's also ready for jewelry, to be wirewrapped, placed in your specimen cabinet or used as a raw stone in metaphysics.


Use my pictures with the 10 x 10 mm background squares and the 18 mm dime to help with size visualization. All pictures are taken dry.

I try to eliminate all the pits and open fractures and I smooth all sides. In the descriptions I will note anything I couldn't remove.
