Origin: Not really sure, it's a very old stock that could of come from the Owyhee area in Oregon. Out of the many examples of yellow rock on the internet there is nothing exactly like this rock only similar.

Characteristics: This is a raw chunk. From what I can see I don't think your going to have a lot of pits and very little fracturing or none at all. Based on the cabs I have polished this material will give you a nice polish.
