Aurora Azotic Crystals

Origin: Arkansas

Colors: Opal Azotic colors

Material: Natural Arkansas quartz crystals bonded with Titanium Azotic coating

Characteristics: Quartz crystal cluster bonded with Titanium to produce rainbow colored quartz crystals.

Approx size: 25 x 34 x 9-18 mm, Weight: 50.5 ct.

Azotic Coating Technology has combined nature and science to bring some of the most vibrant colors available to the world of minerals and jewelry. Titanium, one of the strongest metals known and quartz are bonded together at a molecular level. This process known to scientist as magnetron ionization, occurs in nature as the Aurora Borealis. The brilliant color of Aurora Crystals is the result of optical interference produced by layers of titanium.

The process uses only electricity to deposit the titanium layers. Since only electricity is used to create these colors, very little heat is involved and the integrity of the crystal is maintained. The crystal does not become brittle or prone to breakage as with other enhancements.

Dirt and grease films on the surface will cause the colors to appear dull or fading. Simply wash off the dulling surface oils with soap and water (using no abrasives) and blot dry with a clean paper towel. This will restore the colors to their original luster and brightness.
We will combine items free if they can all fit in the standard bubble envelope, and have a weight less than 4 ounces.

I use a full spectrum 45 w light bulb - photography photo CFL 5500K. It's a daylight balanced pure white light.

An 18 mm dime and 10 mm background squares in some pictures should help you with image sizing.
