Lepidocrocite in Smoky Quartz

This cabochon, a high dome smoky quartz with Lepidocrocite, was cut in India from material found in Brazil. I'm no longer making jewelry so what stones I have now are for sale. This beautiful stone will make a gorgeous ring or pendant. It has a mirror polish on all sides, flat on the back and has a high dome.

Approx size: 17 x 23 x 12 mm, 37 ct

Metaphysically other names for this material is Sacred Seven, Super Seven and Melody's Stone. The color of Lepidocrocite can be yellow, brown, brownish red, red to black. Sometimes the crystals may be tarnished with iridescent colors and look much like hematite.

This stone is said to contain all the energies of Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Smokey Quartz, Cacoxenite, Rutile, Goethite and Lepidocrocite combined. Which of course leads to the name Super Seven. Found in Brazil in the Espirito do Santo region of Minas Gerais, which is known for its many varieties of included Quartz and other gemstone crystals.
