Our shop's in Windsor, California, USA,  selling lapidary preformed slabs and chunks, and ancient Greek and Roman coins.  I have hundreds of unfinished slabs that I will be loading online when I can finish shaping them (what I call preformed).  If you have a need and can't find it online, let us know, we'll get it online sooner if we have it.

My preformed rough slabs are small to medium size.  I remove all open fractures and unsightly pits.  I will note anything unusual in a slab (druzy, small pits, natural sealed fractures, etc.).  I smooth out all sides with 180 diamond grit. The slabs are unpolished and ready for you to finish or use asis.  My chunks are sold with no guarantee on what is inside of them. If you have any questions send me a note

Origin: Andes Mountains, San Patricio, Peru

Material: Natural Peruvian Opal.

Characteristics: mix of soft green colors, natural stone, partial strand and loose beads, polished, 64 beads.

I purchased these beads over 10 years ago at a gem show at Tucson. They have been stored away from bright lights and the sun.

Approx size: 6 mm. 64 beads, weight: 14.4 g.

I use a full spectrum 45 w light bulb - photography photo CFL 5500K. It's a daylight balanced pure white light.

An 18 mm dime 10 mm background squares in some pictures should help you with image sizing.
